"The Wheel of Time series is his most famous work. I honestly don't know if Robert Jordan got a chance to complete any other works (I haven't done that research)"

"I go back and forth on 3 or 4 stars for each book because there is so much tedium in these books and so much book per book. There are too many names that are practically identical, I get easily bored by Rand's story line right now, and while I'm plodding through someone else's story I'm wondering what happened to so-and-so two books ago. However, in between the tedious portions of the book are the exciting parts with Matt and his group, or a couple stories about other folks who can channel, and others. Also there are too many disagreeable characters with no redeeming qualities that I wish would just fall into the ocean or out of a window. So, I get through the boring parts with hope for more exciting parts, and I eventually get it. <br/><br/>Plus, I think it would be terribly difficult to have this entire story in your head and want to explain in detail what everyone looks and acts like but not know where to stop or what you have already said. Where it might be important to the author to give four page descriptions of whether a woman is "handsome but not quite pretty" or "plump" or whatever, and the details of her "split skirts" and everything she is wearing even if she is only in the story for those four pages, it gets old quick. I don't care whether the 47th person to be described in as many pages is handsome not pretty or whatever. I don't blame the author for this though. I think the editors should be the ones editing out unnecessary tidbits like this."
