"I absolutely loved this sequel!! Garber’s world and story are amazing and enthralling, and these characters wholly have my heart. Manu and Tiago are so cute, almost too cute to handle, and I especially liked their scenes together. But the ending does not seem like one fit for the end of a series, not in the slightest. The author said there’s no book three in the works, but I refuse to accept this as the series conclusion. I need more."
"The ending was confusing but the message was solid. This is a story about one of the furthest out ripples in a pond that is buried underground and stuck in time. It's actually a better ending than if ...but that's spoiler talking so none of that. I feel like there will be a 3rd but if there isn't, it ends on a strong and spirited note and I like the conflicting actions and feelings displayed, the level of agency and development the side characters get. We'll see where this goes..."
