"I love the X-Men stories. There have been amazing tales through the decades. There have also been some misses or even repetitive ones.
Now this story comes along from Jonathan Hickman and the status quo is truly changed. Mutants are united. But, something is amiss. Hickman is a master of the long game. He has reinvigorated the X-Men, but kept who they are at the core.
A true must read for X-Men fans, new and old. "
"Almost an Excellent Flawless Story Arc

SPOILER ALERT:

This is almost perfect comic, it has great art, it has a griping story, awesome characters, and was really intriguing, but I can’t give it 5 stars because the authors just couldn’t land the ending, essentially it amounts to a cliffhanger, but there isn’t any follow up, the arc is over. The story literally ends with the main characters talking about how their plan is doomed to fail, and that they will just have to keep trying harder, but we don’t ever see or hear or read of them trying hardera succeeding.
It just ends with all mutantdom celebrating their victory of a mutant nation in Krakoa totally ignorant that it will be a short lived victory. It’s kinda a lame way to end a story arc inho.
But it was still fun to read despite that.
I also was a big fan of the alternative art at the end and the information pages scattered throughout the comic giving detailed lord and background! Awesome idea, and great execution!"
