My Side of the Mountain

The Discovering Literature Series is designed to develop an appreciation for literature and to improve reading skills. Each guide in the series features an award-winning novel and explores a wide range of critical reading skills and literature elements. Chapter analysis is organized into three basic units: Student Directives which contain the main ideas of each chapter for summary or discussion; Chapter Vocabulary which contains definitions of key words; and Chapter Summaries which are included for further knowledge and student skill attainment. Each book contains an answer key.
