"This book is entertaining and very well written. I really enjoyed this book but not to the extent that most people do. This seems to be everyone’s favorite book in the wings of fire series so this book got hyped up by everyone.

I would still recommend reading this book either before or after the last book. It is easy for readers to understand the story without reading this book but it adds a lot of detail and improves the story. Fathom and Indigo is one of my favorite ships in the series.

The reason i wasn’t as connect to this book as other people was because i wasn’t connected to the friend group together. I enjoy them separately. Separately it was interesting everyone having this book power and having to figure out how to live with it. Together they don’t see a natural friend group. Clearsight because friends with darkstarker because she saw visions of her and darkstalker together. Clearsight doesn’t seem close with fathom she just sees a vision of them being friends. Fathom liked darkstalker just because of the spell

I think the other reason i didn’t connect with the book as much was something with Darkstalker. I can’t exactly what it is. Maybe having Darkstalker as a pov character takes away the mystery of his character. Maybe i enjoy darkstalker more as a full out villian. Maybe it was that he always felt like a villain but the book was trying to make him a good person.

I enjoyed the beginning of the book but around the time the group started hanging with Fathom the book started to slow down for me. Some parts felt like it was a bit rushed.

I wish we could have seen Whiteout more. She was not the story much.

I also enjoyed part three."
