"I didn’t love the first half of this book but the second half had me at the edge of my seat! I didn’t expect the reveal at all, I think probably because there was just so much going on and so many characters but everything made so much sense by the end! Also very much recommend the audiobook!"

"This book is blunt about the issues we don't want to talk about in the US in regards to race. It spans from media bias when it comes to race to challenging how people feel towards those of different races- from white and black people. And I'll be honest, as a black person in the West, I didn't want to face some of the topics either. But the better we get at talking about our own biases and exactly WHY we get defensive, the better the result. And I like this book because it shows better results too. Sorry for going off course. The mystery is AMAZING and very well developed. You'll like the twist. It had me turning the pages even when my brain screamed for a break."
"Pushing all that aside, I saw this book up on the new releases and the premise sounded so interesting.<br/><br/><br/><a href="https://ebookreview.dreamwidth.org/102875.html">Book Reviews</a> | <a href="https://www.pillowfort.social/setsuna">Pillowfort</a> | <a href="https://twitter.com/Revengelyne">Twitter</a>"
