"<strong>Quick, Intriguing read</strong><br/><br/>I have a hard time believing that someone could enjoy tidying so much. In fact, I get the lurking suspicion that Ms. Kondo is a psychopath. She makes tidying seem like its so easy, but my experience says it's easier said than done. With that being said I would like to apply to KonMari method to my own home. Her method just seems to make sense. I deducted stars because I felt like I was reading a broken record. Kondo repeated herself so often, I found myself muttering, "just get to the point.""
"LOVED IT. Yes, I don't agree with everything she says (like hanging sponges on the veranda) but the takeaways that are ON POINT, are...does this item bring you joy? And, various other little gems spread throughout the book. Seriously killer stuff, especially pre-move. Now I'm off to finish tidying up!"
"This is definitely a book for people with a certain lifestyle and entitlement. Most of my clothing do not "spark joy" but I do not have the money to replace them with things that do. Also the seasonal clothing thing... trust me where I live you have seasonal, not wearing a parka in summer and not wearing tank tops in winter. There were some good idea that... I implemented years ago on my own. Definitely will not be buying this book or reading any of the others"
