"I had no expectations at all for this book. I was tired of a really crappy book I was reading, and upon browsing for a book I could borrow immediately, I came across this, which I'd never heard of. It is so incredibly sweet. It's set in Brazil and translated from Portuguese, which I am really on board with. It's unusual in a pleasant way to read a book that isn't set in an English-speaking country and wasn't originally intended for an American audience. I'd like to read more of those. I'm also a huge sucker for the "neighbours who used to play pretend" trope. I relate to the MC's insecurities, and I like the way they were dealt with. Seriously, but without getting sad. All in all, this book was short and sweet and exactly what I needed."

"It was very light and fun read, I enjoyed more than I thought I would being it has a lot of personality I personally don't tend to gravitate towards; but am presently surprised on how good the story and characters were. I recommend if you want a book to make you smile a lot and enjoy a good romance book."
