Dolly Alderton
New York Times BestsellerLike Bridget Jones’ Diary but all true— a wildly funny, occasionally heartbreaking memoir from the funny, sharp British journalist and podcast host, who Elizabeth Gilbert calls “a sparkling Roman candle of talent.”“The older you get, the more baggage you carry. When you date at twenty-five, everyone walks into the bar with a very neat, light carry-on. When you date from thirty onwards, get ready to meet someone absolutely brimming with history, complications and demands.”When it comes to the trials and triumphs of becoming an adult, writer Dolly Alderton has seen and tried it all. In her memoir, she vividly recounts falling in love, finding a job, getting drunk, getting dumped, and that absolutely no one can ever compare to her best girlfriends. Everything I Know About Love is about bad dates, good friends and—above all else— realizing that you are enough.Glittering with wit and insight, heart and humor, Dolly Alderton’s unforgettable debut weaves together personal stories, satirical observations, a series of lists, recipes, and other vignettes that will strike a chord of recognition with women of every age.

"At its peak, this memoir read like fiction. The stories described here are so raw, human, and utterly likeable. And, I’ll never quite stop thinking about this ending. All in all, this was a good read. I wish I could have related to this more but this was definitely for the straight people in the house! "
"4.5 | I loved this book from beginning to end. It was like reading a letter from an older sister or a best friend. There are so many pages of this book that are now doodled with hearts and have underlined and highlighted quotes. Any woman entering her twenties needs to read this book. It’s comforting, relatable, and really makes you realize so much about love in your twenties. A must-read."
"honestly was expecting a lot more, it was a good book though. i think my high standards made the book a little disappointing. "

"A wonderfully written book!! The way the author creates a little life within these pages between excerpts and cute recipes is definitely a nice break from the way a regular novel is written. Also, a lot of relatable content regarding relationships and the dumb things you do in your twenty’s. "
