"I was a little bit disappointed with this book. I have greatly enjoyed all of Ally Carter's books so far but this one was a miss for me. I didn't particularly like Kat or anyone else really. I wasn't too concerned about Kat's dad because I didn't know enough about him to have a connection. Hopefully this series will get better."
"I really enjoyed this. I was on a mission to read more contemporary YA, and I've definitely hit the mark with Ally Carter. I really like the way she writes. It was slow to start, with the mystery at the beginning. When things started to pick up with trying to save her dad, I had completely forgotten the beginning and was outraged on Kat's behalf. I felt bad for her, when she wanted nothing but a normal boarding school education and it wasn't meant to be.

I loved the characters. Kat seemed to get a lot of heat over her wanting to quit the life of crime, even if it is her family business. Kat didn't have it easy. She left them all and they made sure she new it, but it didn't stop her from trying to save everyone she cares about.

Loved the story. Completely. Really? Teenage thieves running around the world trying to steal stuff just for the fun of it? I was sold! It was completely different than a lot of the other contemp ya I have read recently and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I can't wait to get my hands on the next one!"
