Our Flag Means Death image

Topic: Our Flag Means Death

Started this series a couple weeks ago, and currently on episode 5. For me, it’s one of those shows that combines historical caricatures, interesting plot twists, & intentional stupidity for, overall, a really entertaining and comedic effect. Will definitely keep watching! What are your thoughts on it? #ourflagmeansdeath #pirates #stupidfunny #comedy_show

Melissa Craver This is on my list to watch so thanks for the review. Definitely sounds like something I’d like!

Forrest Fujio-Gates I liked it a lot. Solid gags and a strong emotional core. I was a bit worried it would be a series that would have to undercut its emotion all the time with jokes which is an issue I've had with a few series but it seems more able than most.

Jennifer Calquhoun One of my favorite shows. It started off as I’d expected, as I’m familiar with Rhys Darby and Taika Waititi’s other work, but it is even better than I’d thought it would be. Also, extremely rewatchable.

Genevieve (she/her) 🏳️‍🌈📚 I absolutely loved it up through the drag episode-it was so good up through that one, and drag episode was ICONIC. And then I felt like for me it kind of went downhill from there. I’m still really mad about (SPOILER FOR ANYONE READING) them killing off Izzy 😭 😠

Quinno Wuinno What upsets me more is the fact they didn’t get a third season cause I felt like it would’ve expanded on the story more rather than feeling rushed at the very end
