Nickel Boys

"First of all there are few films that can even compare to the directing & cinematography of this movie. The imagery is fascinating. The story is heartbreaking, but a tell as old as American (black) history. Highlighting a very specific place and time many didn’t hear of. Watching the innocence of this young boy who had promise who had such optimism & thought that the world actually navigates on what was right or wrong is gut wrenching. Even more painful that his counterpart of the same age has truly given up & knows the world of nothing but injustice so why try. “only 4 ways out of a Nickle”"
