This was sweet and sad and beautiful in a strange way. In some ways it reminds me of another slow movie with a heart of gold called Enchanted April. That movie is a favorite and I've watched it many, many times. This movie brought out some of the same feelings. Even though some things felt odd and wrong, I still came away from it feeling healed myself, having gone through a similar trauma as a young girl. I will buy it and watch it again. Some movies just belong in my library and this is one of them. 3.75/5*s"
