"Warm-hearted classic comedy that is an underrated gem. You have to pay attention to the film, so you don't get confused as it goes back and forth in between time. It has its quirky moments, but is still a great flick to watch. It kinda gives me the reminiscing vibes of a classic underrated film titled Joe's Apartment which was released 5 years later after Drop Dead Fred. "

"Drop Dead Fred" I had a Mom that was the Queen of passive/aggressive behavior and an alcoholic, physically abusive Dad. I ran away from home at 17 years old then married a narcissist. I finally left him and moved in with an alcoholic, physically abusive man. This movie helped me get away from all that. It's a comedy but really hit close to home!"
