"Not quite as fabulous as his last special: You’re Doing Great! nor as universally appealing in subject matter as that special. This deals more with aging, (his own, that of his teen daughters and his parents), imarriage, men being the cause of most of the stupid things in the world & of course the frustration of having to deal with other people. However, it being Tom Paoa it’s still extremely funny and a segment on how what makes his wife relax in order to sleep (unloading all her fears about their loved ones just as they climb into bed) is the exact thing that keeps him up all nigh panic stricken & how he & his wife are in it for the long haul so if they argue-she goes to the other room to cool off and he eats- he opens the drawer of Girl Scout cookies. Those bits had me & my 26 yr old daughter in hysterics. Tom is at his best when he relays those stories between himself and others that are so realistic that they MUST have happened. "

"My sides hurt from laughing, typical from a Tom Papa special. I didn't find it as great as his previous specials especially the one directly before this one but it was still thoroughly enjoyable. His self deprecating humor is always hilarious. This was filmed during COVID. There was a lot of material about his wife and children including how his wife saves every worry she's had throughout the day to share right after the lights are turned off, preventing him from sleeping at all and how he had stopped smoking weed for four years to be a good dad only for his daughter to visit from college and confess she's been smoking it for four years. He talks about serious issues but makes them funny and not as scary to think about."
