My Next Guest with David Letterman and Volodymyr Zelenskyy

"As a longtime fan of Letterman (& one who subscribes to the notion that most comedians are more sensitive than we often give them credit for), i was looking forward to watching this interview. Dave went to Warsaw & took a 14 hr train ride to Kyiv not knowing if he’d get to interview Zelenskyy after all but wanting to know more about this country & this leader who put his life on the line. Their interview took place underground in the train tunnels (which were deemed the safest place) surprisingly in front of an audience like Dave’s other specials. In between, Dave talks to locals, including comedians & visits the monuments to war. Reminded me of Conan’s specials where he goes to other countries & you learn something about the comedian visiting as well as who they are visiting which makes for the best kind of exchange. Although subtitled throughout, a worthwhile watch. "
