"A really interesting premise that was... I don't want to say "poorly executed"... So I'll say "below average execution." I was somewhat excited to watch this and perhaps I may have waited too long and built it up in my head that it was going to be better than it was. Sadly, I was disappointed. It's not bad, it has a few funny moments, I just expected more. (Or maybe it's just because I hate Andy Samberg. Lol) 6.5/10"
"I expected to like this movie a lot more, but even so, I'm gonna give it 4 stars because I really loved some of the details in the writing of it. I wanted a bit more thriller though I could live without it. AND a bit more comedy which is what kept me from liking it more, cause while it is spotted in there, it's unexpectedly satirical which I think took me too long to realize and had some of the jokes fall flat for me because of it. Even so, it was an enjoyable watch and a clever idea with a unique execution - cause of the satire. If I'd written the review immediately after watching, my rating would've definitely been 3, but since I've had time to sit on it and appreciate the storyline, I gotta give it one more. 4/5🎮"
"This had some great laughs. I actually gave myself the hiccups from laughing so hard at the "Ellen" scene. There are so many actors that appear for brief scenes in this movie from Christopher Lloyd to Pedro Pascal as "Super Mario". If you want to laugh and don't think too hard, this is the movie for you. This movie gets funnier as it goes along. A++"
"Bizarre adventure that has funny, silly moments. Love Eduardo Franco and the "production ninjas" in this. I felt there were some missed opportunities, could have used more ridiculous comedy and action sequences. The romance between Anna and Jakes character felt fast. Was so strange it had me asking, "Really? That's what's happening?""
