"One of my favorite childhood movies. Jackie Gleason is my great, great uncle. Yes some of this didn't age well but it's still enjoyable. I still love this movie and watch it if I catch it on. "

"In what could have been just a silly movie, a stellar cast, led by Burt Reynolds, makes Smokey and the Bandit a fun ride. There is chemistry in spades from Sally Field and Jackie Gleason to Paul Williams and Jerry Reed. Many of the car stunts are outstanding and a lively soundtrack and quick pace keep things rolling non-stop. One of the better car chase/road films out there and certainly a highlight of Reynolds career and the decade. It doesn't get more 70s southern than this."

"My Dad is a trucker and this is by far his favorite movie series to watch. Plus, East Bound and Down is his theme song 🎵 being the daughter of a trucker is rough but what truly matters is the love of the job and my Dad wouldn't have it any other way so neither would I. Truckers don't get enough respect but they should."
