"i adore waitress. i’ve seen it on tour twice, i always knew it was a masterful piece of art but this really sealed the deal. somehow it made everything feel so much more intimate. highlighted the amazing choreography and insanely talented cast. the visuals were just gorgeous. sometimes proshots can take away from the theatre magic, this one did not. not one bit. enhanced the experience. i love this show. really glad this gets to honor nick cordero forever. thanks for taking me to the moon, moon pie. "I’ve seen many Broadway musicals live in NYC but I missed this one. After watching this taped-live version, I’m kicking myself that I missed it. Everything about the show was great. The songs, the comedy, the sadness and reaffirmation were all amazing. Only to be outshined by the cast. Sara Bareilles’ voice is everything I want to hear in a Broadway lead…powerful and haunting and beautiful. But even the supporting cast, all of their voices were powerful and awesome…The show was great and I highly recommend it."
