"A true story about an Australian family of 8 (soon to be 9) that moves to the US with nothing but faith. This movie shows the beginnings of their journey to what later became a family business of sorts in the music industry, first with singer Rebecca St. James and then duo For King & Country. The film highlights the role of the mother and how she supported her entire family making for an emotional and moving story (I cried like 4 times). Definitely recommend, especially for families to watch together! 5/5 ๐๐"
"โUnsung Heroโ was a beautiful movie of faith, perseverance, and finding outlets for creative inspiration wherever you can. A large Australian family relocates to the United States in search of a new life after their old one falls through back home. They have to think, innovate, and problem solve in regards to how theyโll be able to get back on their feet. They learn to rely on each other when times get tough and find little moments of hope to carry them through. They never back down, complain, or wallow for very long, which is commendable and made me root for them every step of the way. They come to find that members of their family are artistically gifted in song, spirit, and music, which lets them imagine bigger and create more largely. I found this movie to be touching, insightful, and genuinely heartwarming! It really is the unsung heroes among us that matter more than we can say and shouldnโt be overlooked or passed over for they are the substance and glue that hold the world and its people more strongly together. "To be honest, I donโt know what else I can say that hasnโt already been said in other comments. This movie was worth the money spent on tickets and popcorn and was so heart breaking yet heart warming, happy and yet tears were shed. You feel it all while uncovering the true story of the band King & Country, artist Rebecca St. John, and the supporting heroโs of their family! Definitely recommend!"
"A true story about faith and destiny. A bit slow at times, but I will admit that I needed a tissueโฆonce or twice. ๐ Watch for the stewardess cameo and stay for the fun family pics at the very end. You know the story is legit when itโs the family who made it! "
