"Although this film is definitely a comedic style, the martial arts performed in this movie should be taken seriously. All the athletic scenes with Jackie Chan and the other actors sparring, as well as Jackie's training scenes are pretty intense. The plot unfolds in a funny way, but still teaches quality over quantity in martial arts, as well as technique. Jackie Chan was definitely on his way to Hollywood. He has a style that his fans still admire. I really enjoyed watching this film."
"Such a fantastic film all around. Incredible entertainment with tons of comedy, an insanely charismatic performance by Jackie Chan, and some of the best martial arts fight sequences I’ve seen put to film."
