"For something 13.8 billion years in the making, this documentary by contrast is quite short. It covers mostly the trek to bring JWST to launch (at which point, leaving Earth, the telescope had 344 possible single points of failure) and bringing it to life. If you revel in the beauty of the images from JWST, this documentary might help you appreciate the operation to bring the ability to capture images from the very edge of time and the extraordinary fragility and delicatesseness of the entire platform, in a sense, upon seeing the true vastness of the universe, mirrors our very atomically insignificant existence."
"Watch this when you need some inspiration, wonderment, and awe... or when you need the reminder that no matter how bad things seem, there is still such beauty to behold. Very interesting to watch and learn more fully about the JWST and the people behind it. Didn’t realize the decades and hundreds of billions(!) of dollars that went into this astronomical launch and expedition. The end where you finally get to see the images returned from beyond our solar system, I mean… “wow”. My one complaint, this should have been a multi-episode series. "
