"Watched this #fantasy #horror for the first time, tonight. It's not the best. Having a magical fairy as a slasher villain is a promising premise, but the leprechaun fails to execute any violence that Leatherface couldn't do, which says all I need to say about the wasted potential. I feel like the leprechaun was supposed to be humorous, but the humor fell flat. Looney Tunes and The Three Stooges did the same jokes much earlier without a hopelessly confused tone. Jennifer Aniston's character, Tory, was pretty insufferable. The explosive ending didn't fit the established lore, a big fantasy no-no. And having the kid deliver the "BA" final one-liner made me want to be hit in the head with a shillelagh. 2/5, wouldn't recommend."
"Okay so this series as a whole isn't really connected and has some major plot holes and I'm gonna tell each one through the list. In this one the leprechaun is 600 years old and his gold is said by the pawn shop/collectibles owner to be worth $500 a piece. This movie does not state that the leprechaun is demonic but I see that the description does so there's that. In this movie he calls his gold, gold coins makes since because they are coin like and his weakness is clovers (4 leaf clovers obviously)"
