Don't Turn Out the Lights

"3.5 stars. I would rank it higher but so many things were left unexplained. That said it was a decent slasher type film. With an annoying friend group doing stupid things. As long as you don't mind unanswered questions, it's a good one time watch that held my attention."

" After watching this I still don’t understand the title. There were no lights to turn out…other than headlights…and lights really didn’t play any role in the story. A group of friends get together to celebrate a birthday and they decide to go to some festival. One of them borrowers a family RV. They are on a tight schedule when they are chased of the road and get lost. While trying to get back to on track something stops the RV and begins to terrorize them. The set up is fine, but one the RV stops, they lose focus. Is it the RV that’s haunted or the road ? Is it one of them? They even introduce this demonic book and cult like stuff, but none of it goes anywhere. They really should have homed in on an idea and went with it. And from the title, it sounds like they had something else in mind. Ultimately, this falls short of being entertaining after a decent opening. You can skip this one. "A great nail biter. I got jump scared a few times and was anxious the whole last half of the movie. Only annoying teenager drama splattered throughout, which I get but still wish it was toned down a smidgen. "
