A sexy nightclub owner, Barb Wire moonlights as a mercenary in Steel Harbor, one of the last free zones in the now fascist United States. When scientist Cora Devonshire wanders into Barb's establishment, she gets roped into a top-secret government plot involving biological weapons. Soon Barb is reunited with her old flame Axel Hood, who is now Cora's husband and a guerrilla fighter, resulting in plenty of tense action.

"I wasn't expecting too much from this movie, but I ended up liking it anyway. The plot reminds me a little bit of Tank Girl, in that there is a privatized government, and factions control different populated areas, and a rebellion is brewing. Of course, with Pamela Anderson as the lead actress, the film has a sexier edge to it. It was a nice surprise to see Tamuera Morrison as her love interest. Just like Tank Girl, it is entertaining to watch and is about an independent woman who wants to get her and her family to a safe place and start a new life. Just roll with it. "
