Matt Rife: Natural Selection

"I have only seen small clips of Matt Rife on various different social media apps. Most of these clips are of him interacting with the audience, and being funny just off the top of his head. That being said, I was hugely disappointed with this stand-up routine. I just didn't think it was that funny. There were a couple of laugh out loud moments sprinkled throughout, but they were few and far between. I know he has other stand-up specials, but I'm not in a hurry to check them out after watching this one. 4/10"

"Thought it was gonna be hilarious when the 50 Cent song started playing and a white guy walks out on-stage but- his act and delivery isn't anything worth writing home about. He has the makings of an okay comedian, but not for a huge theater crowd with a Netflix premier. If anything it reinforces my preference towards deadpan humor."
