"I really liked this. The Witcher umbrella is based on a series of 8 polish books and short stories. This is one of the short stories. You can always trust Netflix when it comes to animation. Interesting and exciting story, mermaids, musical numbers and bloody fun action sequences, heavy on the gore. Worried that Siri wasn’t in this. Because she better be heavily involved in the final season of the main show, with Liam Hemsworth taking over the title role. "
"The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep delivers a solid adaptation that stays true to the source material while bringing a fresh, darker spin on the classic mermaid myth. This isn’t some fairytale Little Mermaid story—this is gritty, intense, and more in line with a dark fantasy world like Final Fantasy.
The animation is stunning, with beautifully crafted underwater sequences that feel immersive and haunting. The storyline pulls from Andrzej Sapkowski’s A Little Sacrifice, giving us a mix of mystery, political intrigue, and action. Geralt is in top form, navigating tensions between humans and sirens, all while trying to avoid getting pulled into yet another war."
