"I can honestly say I have never been moved so much emotionally by a documentary before. It is beautiful and artistic, as seen through Frida's eyes. I have read and seen other specials about Frida Kahlo's life but never so intimately and dramatically. If anyone wants to learn about the great artist Frida, and by extension, her husband Diego Rivera, this is the definitive and only documentary that I would recommend. Frida's artwork, diary, letters, friends who witnessed her life and art, those in her inner circle and every other aspect of her life, give a raw, heartbreaking, magical, and breathtaking story about the artist who became Frida. All I can say is you have to experience it for yourself. The voice over artists who spoke for Frida and Diego were brilliant and I really felt as if I was watching her journey of life unfold. . The documentary is so full of life, and her art comes to life in a way that I have never seen before. Please experience it for yourself. This wonderful documentary is airing on Amazon Prime right now, as of March 2024. Spanish audio with English subtitles."
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Frida’s art and life in her own words. Sublimely narrated and edited with exquisite animations of her painfully personal artwork come to life. This is in my Top 3 list of documentaries that deliver BOTH sublime visuals and achingly meaningful content, either profound or harrowing (the other two being Moonage Daydream and I Am Not Your *****). This one is all of that and more. Simply .. just gorgeous. "

"This is by far the most beautiful documentary ever of an extraordinary artist who has shown her raw talent of what it means to be an artist through her life. I don’t want to give anyone spoil alerts but this documentary is so beautiful like I said that you will feel through your veins throughout this true story by watching her life in full, heartbreaking details. I bought a diary book along with the letters she wrote after I watched this. It is her testament of what her life was about as a woman. She was a remarkable human being ever on earth. Please watch this because Frida will teach you what humanity is all about. I have so much respect for her and that’s why I bought a two books about her that I will always cherish for the rest of my life. "
