I have read and seen other specials about Frida Kahlo's life but never so intimately and dramatically. If anyone wants to learn about the great artist Frida, and by extension, her husband Diego Rivera, this is the definitive and only documentary that I would recommend. Frida's artwork, diary, letters, friends who witnessed her life and art, those in her inner circle and every other aspect of her life, give a raw, heartbreaking, magical, and breathtaking story about the artist who became Frida. All I can say is you have to experience it for yourself. The voice over artists who spoke for Frida and Diego were brilliant and I really felt as if I was watching her journey of life unfold. . The documentary is so full of life, and her art comes to life in a way that I have never seen before. Please experience it for yourself.
