"Disclaimer: JLo is beyond reproach to me. I couldn’t name two of her pop songs but have grown an absolute fondness over her film career. She’s just a couple years younger than my wife and I. Ok, back in the 80’s, before the internet, we watched music videos. A lot. But I haven’t seen a music video in 20 years (hard rock guy). Well, music videos have come a long way. This is basically one long music video from what I assume is her new album. Do they still make albums? It’s also maybe genius. The songs are fantastic and appear semi autobiographical. Her problem? She just loves too damn much. The unintentional comedy, and the first video, are worth your time alone. But it’s also exciting, romantic, ridiculous, sexy, cheesy, thrilling, wonderful. A lot of cool cameos. Fantastic special effects. "
"I know this is supposed to be a description of her love story with Ben and about her life, but to me, it was like a longest music video ever and I normally like Jennifer Lopez’s movies but this one was dumb"

"This was a really good film I think the only reason why it's getting bad reviews is solely because of the fact that it is jennifer lopez which I will never understand the jennifer lopez hate I think she's iconic and I can only hope at her age that I look that hot. Anyhow this movie you can tell was extremely therapeutic for her a display of self reflection and it was fun as soon as I turned it on I was captivated. "
"This was about self-love and learning to feel whole and free on one’s own. It is about working towards liberation and accepting that the broken parts of ourselves are still to be loved tenderly and worked through. Through dance and song, this extended music video and narrative comes alive to the beat of its own drum. It pulsates with rhythm and delves deeper into the contents of our characters and souls, as well as our different kinds of vulnerability when it comes to life and love.
Jennifer Lopez is a force, laying herself bare for the whole world to see and reckon with. There is nothing quite like the passion and drive she carries within her. While this was at first chaotic, hence the 4-star rating, I came to appreciate the layers of energy and work that went into this spellbinding production. To find one’s self and go on a journey of self-exploration can be difficult but, ultimately, very powerful and rewarding."
"I am allergic to the content of this movie. I guess if I had JLo’s money I might make a feature length music video full of internet trends and astrology jokes about my own love life…seems like a very “obscenely wealthy and bored person” thing to do and I don’t know what that’s like, so I guess I can’t relate.
