I am blown away by how this story was told, and how beautifully it was shared. @heynarwhal and I got to speak with the creators of this documentary before we got to watch, and they pressed upon us that it is a story of hope and healing. I wasn’t prepared for how impactful that statement would be until the very end. I was a sobbing mess feeling very happy for these fellow natives, doing what they can to heal from a dark and terrible history.
