Life has its downs for James, living with his mom in Chicago at 39, an aging performer at Second City, eating and weighing too much. A woman he's been dating drops him, as does his agent, her brother. James turns down roles in local TV, roles that make him sad. Someone's remaking his favorite movie, "Marty," a role he'd love, but he doesn't even get an audition.

"Honestly surprised on how better the second half gets. Obviously the name already made me believe this was going to be a bad, amateur, indie film and the first act didn’t help either. But once the ball starts rolling the movie becomes enjoyable.
On top of that there’s certain parts of this film that seem relatable and makes you feel a bit empathic towards James.
The big issue with this movie is the unnecessary scenes that don’t add any substance to this film. Such as the support group scene, and the nosy neighbor asking where James went or who was the girl. 2.5/5"
