"This was okay. After a bad jet ski accident, 3 teens are rescued or are they? I will say that the way they filmed the jet ski accident was good. I found myself saying ouch and wincing. Definitely not a rewatchable movie. "

"A young woman goes on a double date with her friend. They take jet skis to go to some little islands and have an accident on the way back. They think they are saved but the captain of this fishing boat has other ideas. It started with some family background drama that they really could have done without since it never comes up again. It slowed down the pacing a bit. Other than that I liked the execution of the first act. It doesn’t take long for things to go wrong and they do build a bit of suspense and mystery with what this captains plans are. There is a bit of a twist there which was unexpected and appreciated. However it does suffer from some of the standard poor decisions survivors make in these type of movies. People get the upper hand on their captor and don’t capitalize fully on it. The movie should have been over multiple times before the actually ending. If they would have cut down on some of the cliches this would have been much better.
