"I finished this film out of admiration for Jean-Claude Van Damme's early martial arts movies. This film barely had any redeeming value other than a few car chases toward the end. The editing is poor, the acting goes from dramatic stares and shouting matches. The script must have been 10 pages long, bolded and double-spaced. Two scenes are unbelievably gruesome for no reason, the cursing was merely added to get an R-rating, and the 90-minute runtime feels stretched out. "
"John Wick before the John Wick movie trilogy was ever thought of.
A movie about revenge at its finest of going to the end of the earth to track down who harms your family.
Note that there are a few gruesome spots in the film, which make since due to in the film, they're dealing with Chinese triads which are known for brutal deaths.
Great storyline to the film drawing out why things are going on as you get a little bit into the film and keeps you drawn into the film wanting more, as any old classic action movie would.
