"This is a disturbing, tragic story of torture and sexual abuse just to satisfy someone's twisted beliefs, and sadly is based on true events. It's not particularly well written and has a "made for TV" feel to it. Definitely not for everyone. 4/10"

"t’s been a while since a film really just made me feel pure anger and emotion like this did. It’s a well written and well acted b movie. Watching the story unfold and knowing it’s based off a real life case makes it that much harder to endure. Looking on as this woman and neighborhood kids inflict violent abuse on her is devastating. I suggest you don’t watch this film if you can’t handle torture and sexual assault. What that young girl went threw is something unimaginable. Humans suck"

"heartbreaking story, i was very much not prepared for it the first time i watched it. definitely traumatizing but still, quite good. An American Crime is about this case as well but includes the trial afterward and it’s a lot less intense if you aren’t down to see all of the graphic abuse shown in this one. "
