"I guess I was hoping for an older style version of Hacksaw Ridge. It wasn't. But it was based on a true story. And I guess parts of it were pretty true to life because the studio wanted the friends and family to sign a contract not to sue for misrepresenting them. The people would not sign until they made sure the performances were not misrepresenting them. The Actress who played Gracie was adorable but I admit I love her performance in Yankee Doodle Dandy more. This movie didn't stand out to me but I may have expected to love it more and sometimes going in with high expectations is a bad thing. I will just say it was good."
