"Humphrey Bogart plays the leader of a retreating, stranded tank unit, who decide to make their stand against a German battalion at a well they are holed up at. While this isn’t an all time classic, it has strong character work from the ragtag, multinational unit and hammers home the desperation of being stranded in the desert. This is definitely one of the best of the war propaganda films that the studios churned out during WW2. If you like Bogart or classic war films, it’s well worth the watch.
