"Awesome movie"

"This movie went a LOT further than I expected it to. I was anticipating the entire movie being a padded edition of ‘let’s hide the corpse’ once I’d gotten to a certain part of the plot. then it’d double back on itself again, and again, and again, and by a certain point I accepted that this movie had such nimble footwork I couldn’t tell WHAT would happen next, but not to the point where it lost wittiness or my interest. I’d describe 9 to 5 as a nearly perfect movie."
"An absolutely wonderful movie with an iconic cast and undertones of worker exploitation and the sex gap in work and relationships. A movie that screams "girl power" in the most unusual and dark way. A truly entertaining and comedic watch, only benefitted by it's great soundtrack and Dolly Parton. "
"Still relevant after all this time! Definitely can feel that from-a-musical plot! Over the top, wacky, and infused with empowering themes!"
