"Although it has been awhile since I have seen this great TV movie, I distinctly remember that it had a great impression on me. It was my first real exposure to seeing historical racism at such a level of sports. However, I really appreciated how the cast portrayed the Olympian as able to rise past the discrimination and participate in something unforgettable. "
