"A perfect example of the “let’s copy-paste a female character into the script at the last minute for plausible queer deniability” film. Arguably pretty bad, but it was one of the first queer films I had access to as a teen, and I have a soft-spot for its dystopian vampire gangster vibe. Gackt definitely took his self-insert fanfic to the next level."
