The Swan Princess

"Having rewatched this I can truly say it's good. Like don't get me wrong it's no masterpiece but it's better than some Disney princess movies. Your kids will enjoy this for the funny characters and the songs will keep them invested. The action as well will make sure to capture their attention once. There's always something going down in the scene. I like the angle of the two knowing each other throughout their childhood. No other princess movie really showcased that. It's always love at first sight half the time. But this one showed progression. The songs are good. I adore Far Longer than Forever. This is My Idea is truly amazing. If it wasn't the major part of the beginning of the movie I'd download it in a heartbeat (I don't like ruining the movie by getting story based songs). Plus Odette is shown to be tough which most princesses don't get a chance to do that. Not a big fan of the chase scene no fear, but other than that I like rewatching it. (Spoilers) Derek realizing his feelings made sense since she was taken. However, Odette realizing she loves Derek and that he's her true love doesn't make sense. Like last she saw of him he just said he loved her beauty. So I'm not sure why she knows he loves her all of a sudden. Then theres the fact Rothbart helps Odette die despite wanting to marry her so he can take the kingdom. Like dude I dont think thatll help your case. Other than that, there aren't any major continuity errors. Overall I enjoy it. The songs truly are iconic and the princess on parade is just fun to jam out to and watch. I truly mean it when there's so much going on in every shot. You'll notice something new with each watch. The detail and care the movie had just astounds me. It's not perfect but it will entertain."
