"After a tragedy strikes, causing them to move many times, an Indian family ends up in France and opens up an restaurant across the road from a renowned French one. The purveyor is none to happy about it and through racism, classism and culture wars-the new owners learn that their differences can be bridged through taking the first step through food. Helen Mirren is a gem, as always."
"Very cute movie for family. Tears at a couple moments !"

"Like the culinary delights being prepared in the film’s kitchens, The Hundred-Foot Journey is a joyous and exquisite treat. Critic, Kenneth Turan said he’d wished the film had more of the messy juices of life flowing through it, but I disagree in this case. Outside of films, we’re up to our collective necks in life’s messy juices these days, so why not enjoy a film that focuses on joy, love, success & kindness. The lack of profanity, violence and adult themes made a great film even better. Bravo!"
