A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A courageous policeman, a photojournalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, who seems to know a lot about the creatures, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.

These Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers are created by the dumping of toxic waste into the sewage system of New York. It’s a sincere movie about the rich dumpling on the poor and people not talking the time to help out each other. It’s poignant and entertaining enough movie that keeps your interest for the movie’s duration."
