"I never really put much stock into Andrew Garfield's acting ability until I'd seen him in this film. This is the most real and raw character that I've ever seen him play. So kudos to him in that respect. Michael Shannon is an elite actor that has the expertise to portray a villain that makes you really hate him. This movie is sometimes difficult to watch. It's a heavy thing to see families and the elderly having their homes foreclosed on and being ripped from their houses. But it's like a car crash, in that you can't look away. Ultimately, a heart wrenching drama and a test of personal morals. Very well done. 8/10"
