"The Boy and the Beast is one of the best anime movies I’ve ever seen. What I took away from it is that, as children, our souls need to connect with the right people and environments to grow and mature into good individuals.
This growth can happen anywhere, and it’s a reciprocal process. Often, those in mentoring roles may come across as harsh, but we must remember that they too are growing and evolving alongside us.
As children, we leave an imprint on our mentors or parental figures, giving them a chance to grow as well. It’s a mutual exchange of teaching, advising, and mentoring. The goal isn’t to become our mentors or parents, but rather a reflection of their guidance while maintaining our own sense of self, carrying pieces of those who have loved and guided us through life. This movie is an amazing portrayal of this making it a must watch "
