"THIS ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST! The dialogue is less cringey and actually heartfelt. The hairstyling and make up is so much more flattering. The color grading is gorgeous. The acting is much more natural. I actually found myself rooting for Ana and Christian in this one. I loved getting more insight into Christian’s character and the origins of his trauma. It made me appreciate him as a character and my heart melted as he started to open up to Ana. He literally looked like a puppy dog whenever he pleased her. And Dakota Johnson was enjoyable to watch in this one, which was a first for me. The storyline was also so much more entertaining, what with the stalker, the gross boss and, of course, Elena the groomer herself. Unlike the first movie, I can actually see myself rewatching this one! "
