"Wonderfully directed man Vs wild story set in Japanese occupied Korea in the 1920’s. A magnificent performance by Choi Min-sik (Oldboy) and a very cool 850 pound CGI tiger. A little long for my taste and light on the action til the last 45 min or so. But it’s so much more than an action movie. Well written script, beautiful mountain setting, fleshed out characters. I can see why this has 100% on RT. "
"Very moving. Good, hard story, well told. Good CGI. Lots of emotions. Lots of deaths and blood. Will be hard to watch for anyone who loves animals. Usual English summary of the movie is misleading. Will watch it again."
