"This review is going to be full of spoilers but I'll let you know beforehand.
First of all, before I watched this, I read a bunch of reviews. I didn't want to waste any time on a real stinker. The people that hated it, REALLY hated it. And they got so much wrong in their reviews. Here come the spoilers...
Reviews that show the person didn't pay any attention...
1) How can they afford the house when neither seem to work?
Welst, one guy OWNS a coffee shop and the other works online, probably as an influencer, which you see when the femme fatale comes into his room...and he's WORKING on his computer. Derp! He says apparently people like what he has to say and she says it's not really a job, is it. He says, "Knock wood." Anyhoo, the guys also talk about how they will never find a place that nice for how much they're paying, so you know they're getting a good deal. Their roommate moved out, so they needed another one in order to keep the place. The better question would be, how does SHE come up with her part of the rent? I can't remember hearing her talk about having a job, correct me if I'm wrong.
2) How are these two polar opposite guys friends?
They've been friends since they were children. They obviously need each other for their differences. The more calm, level-headed Ray needs to be the reasonable one for his hot-headed, loudmouth friend. The loudmouth, Bobby (played by a very funny adult, Patrick Renna, aka Ham from The Sandlot), needs the calm friend to keep him from going too far, which we see several times during the movie. Ray seems to be the only thing keeping Bobby from doing something very stupid on multiple occasions. Regardless, Bobby still does really stupid things frequently. Imagine how much worse it would be without his best friend there!
3) The "twisted moral code" because their new roommate, Chloe didn't do anything wrong but the guys turn it around on her to make her the bad guy.
She didn't do anything wrong?!?! Ok, let me tell you what "
