Olive, an average high school student, sees her below-the-radar existence turn around overnight once she decides to use the school's gossip grapevine to advance her social standing. Now her classmates are turning against her and the school board is becoming concerned, including her favorite teacher and the distracted guidance counselor. With the support of her hilariously idiosyncratic parents and a little help from a long-time crush, Olive attempts to take on her notorious new identity and crush the rumor mill once and for all.

"I love this movie and the conversations it brings up about the double standards between the sexualities of girls and boys in high school and society in general, that and it’s funny. I think how they use the comedy to talk about those topics is genius, they aren’t making light of the situation they use it as a tool to poke holes in the already thin logic of it all. It also knows when it needs to be serious and stops the jokes all together when things get out of hand. If you want a comedy that’s funny but also has some over arching message I’d give this one a shot."

"A delightful modern high school comedy that easily earns five stars. Emma Stone's performance as Olive Penderghast is brilliant, and the entire cast shines.
The witty screenplay, cleverly referencing classic literature, keeps you engaged. Beyond the laughs, Easy A explores the impact of gossip and staying true to oneself, delivering a relevant and uplifting message.
With a catchy soundtrack, brisk pacing, and a charming California setting, Easy A is a must-see that will leave you smiling. Five stars, no doubt!"
