In the middle of a routine patrol, officer Daniel Carter happens upon a blood-soaked figure limping down a deserted stretch of road. He rushes the young man to a nearby rural hospital staffed by a skeleton crew, only to discover that patients and personnel are transforming into something inhuman. As the horror intensifies, Carter leads the other survivors on a hellish voyage into the subterranean depths of the hospital in a desperate bid to end the nightmare before it's too late.

"Although the ending is unsatisfying, I rate this horror film four stars. I am greatly impressed at how the director uses the hour and a half run time. Given a small budget, he traps the frightened characters into one small country hospital. One woman is about to give birth, a husband and wife are trying to repair their marriage, a head doctor misses his daughter, and several other characters wander into the hospital armed and dangerous. The town becomes the center of mysterious visitors, and no one seems to know their agenda. office. My attention was held until the last 20 minutes, when the plot went off the rails. But I will let you be the judge. Overall this movie makes good use of darkness, shadow, and little or no music. The acting is good, except for two characters that seem overdone and a bit annoying. Warning: ⚠️ Blood and gore."
"When Lovecraft and John Carpenter meet this is what you get."

"Fantastic practical effects (remember those? Back before everything started looking like a video game 🤣). Also disturbing in the best possible way. Has some aspects of From Beyond and story wise some themes of Event Horizon. My only gripe is like lots of other movies like this, there are scenes where normal people would be massively freaking out, but these characters seem to think it's somehow normal. Overall I highly enjoyed! 👍👍👍"
