"As a long-time fan of Adam Sandler, David Spade, and SNL in general, I was very disappointed in this movie. Granted, it was a "did not finish," but then again, it's rare for me to stop watching a movie out of pure disgust. It was just far too vapid, misogynistic, cringe... The only way I can see this being salvaged is if it is a satire of Floridian life and culture, but it was not marketed as such. None of the characters were developed nor had much personality outside sex and outright hatred for women. At one point, Sandler's character fires a flare gun at a group of women for teasing Spade's character AFTER stalking them on a boat and trying to convince them to show their breasts to appease them. Then later Sandler's character brutalizes a blow-up doll and then causes Spade to hit a woman they are tailing with a full-size van in order to charm her. Not to mention his other snide remarks and awful treatment towards all of the female characters. Even rampant misogyny aside, though— It's simply uninteresting and rarely even funny. It's like a movie tailored exclusively to ageing spoiled frat boys whose lives and worldviews are especially miserable, entitled, and violent. As the cliché goes: Would rate zero stars if I could."
